My Colour and Style Journey

In 2009 I was invited by a friend to join a group of ladies having their “colours analysed”. It was very last minute and if I’m honest I didn’t really know what to expect but I certainly wasn’t expecting the impact it had on my confidence and my wardrobe.
It didn’t take long for me to realise that I was receiving more compliments, work colleagues commented on how “well” and “put together” I looked.

I waited quite a while before indulging myself in a Style class, if I’m honest I knew that I had a lot of “classic” in my style and within that there was a part of my personality which resisted. But boy was I wrong, not so much about the Style’s and shapes I chose but by truly understanding the reasons I needed to make those choices. It was enlightening to join the dots between my personality traits and the way I dressed. It enabled me to ably identify the features and details in clothing and accessories that sent out the non-verbal messages I wanted to communicate to the world.

In 2019 I was lucky enough to be able to invest in the most comprehensive training on the market with House of Colour.

The training I undertook was extensive, in person on live models and it gave me an incredible foundation in the science of colour, the processes of colour analysis, body architecture and personality psychology on which to build my personal styling business. Today I help clients to gain confidence by redefining their wardrobes to reflect their individuality!

I am committed to providing the best possible service to my clients, I invested in the best quality training and want to offer the best possible experience. I don’t offer colour analysis virtually as it’s unreliable due to a number of external factors which can compromise the result. Natural daylight is essential for the integrity of the process and to achieve the best possible outcome for clients, and whilst my investment point may be higher than other stylist’s I believe that I provide a premium service taking time to ensure my clients fully understand the process.
